  • Struggling Students & the Homeschool Advantage

    If your child struggles to learn and retain lessons, to be organized and complete tasks, this workshop is for you. Your child may not have been diagnosed with a specific disability, but a diagnosis isn't necessary. Their learning challenges are real, and you need practical help and encouragement. This workshop will cover several topics, including:

    Help for Language and Math, Using Assistive Technology, Curbing Attitudes , Test Taking

  • Life & Study Skills for Teens (& Tweens)

    This workshop for students will help them attain the study skills they need for independent learning from Middle School through High School to College. Parents are encouraged to attend as well.

    Some topics will be: Goal Setting, Learning, Independently, Organization, Note Taking, Scheduling Your Day, Studying for a Test, Memorizing, Focus & Concentration, Tech-y Time Savers, and SO MUCH MORE!

    Parents are HIGHLY encouraged to attend with your students!

  • How can I help my Twice-Exceptional Student?

    ONLINE: How can I help my Twice-Exceptional Student?

    As a "twice exceptional" college graduate, who didn't know she was ADHD until later, Courtney understands firsthand the challenges that are difficult to overcome.

    Join Courtney of Bolou School as she equips parent teachers with understanding & ideas best suited to aid a student with a disorder like ADHD as well as a high scoring ability in some kinds of learning.

    This meeting will be hosted using MS Teams. Joining for a PC can abe done without loading any apps.

  • ONLINE: Dual Enrollment & Homeschooling w/ TandemEDU

    “TRANSCRIPTS, CREDITS, GRADES, OH MY!” Middle and high school parents will walk away from this 1-hour workshop feeling empowered to confidently navigate the high school “Yellow Brick Road” to graduation.

    During middle school and beyond, parents start asking, “How in the world do we home school high school?” Through this nuts-and-bolts class, parents will learn how to prepare a transcript, keep and record grades, calculate a GPA and award credits. You’ll be equipped with everything you need to know to home school through high school. If you have a middle or high school student and you’re considering home education through high school, you should definitely attend this workshop! You’ll walk away knowing you CAN do it!
