Jesus is the Center of Our Mission

Letter from the Founding Executive Director,

Hello to our amazing members!

First, I wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for your:

1. Prayer support - Unite (and I personally) have had some pretty substantial obstacles to overcome this year but your prayer and words of encouragement have made a huge difference. The Lord is faithful!

2. Helping hands - Our Unite members are the best and as my constantly repeated saying goes, 'Many hands makes light work!"  Thank you for the small (and large) ways you help to make the events, programs and resources happen for our members.

3. Financial support - without being able to pay the bills Unite would cease to exist. We are extremely thankful to everyone on paid plans, or who makes monthly or annual contributions.👈Press the link to learn more about giving options.

Secondly, over the summer, we went through some intentional restructuring. While Unite had always been managed from a Biblical worldview, it had been too subtle. Last spring the board and I realized this was a problem that needed to be corrected and took both legal and organizational measures to ensure complete alignment with the mission we felt was at the heart of Unite:

Our complete mission statement is:

Unite Homeschool seeks to eliminate isolation and uncertainty for homeschool families in north Georgia by strengthening their relationships to Jesus, their Savior and their community, providing resources, support, and educational opportunities tailored to homeschool learning needs.

*We will still use some shortened versions of this in places for marketing, but without Jesus, the whole thing is pointless.

The heart and focus of our organization leaders are clearly depicted in this graphic where you can see that discipleship is our primary target, but missions and outreach are also important:
